Step 1: Installing the Power Supply

Installation was a cinch. Just four screws. What looks intimidating is all the power supply's wires. There must be more than 30. But you'll find places for most of them. See Photo.

Step 2: Installing the Motherboard

Open the Case and Remove Motherboard Tray.

Replace the ATX Connector Plate and Align Motherboard with Case.

Install Standoffs and Secure the Motherboard.

Install Critical Wires and Connectors. The first wires are the ones that hang loose from your case, like hard drive, power, reset and speaker leads. Consult your documentation to know how to plug these wires into their appropriate slots in the case.

Step 3: Installing the Processor, Heat Sink and RAM

Locate the Processor Socket.

Mount the CPU.

Apply the Thermal Compound.

Install the Heatsink.

Install the Heatsink Fan Header. Check the documentation that came with your motherboard to properly locate the correct header.

Install the Memory Modules. The modules would only go in one way.

Step 4: Popping in the Ports, Drives and Cards

Remove the Case and Set Your Drive Jumper.

Insert the Drive into Case. Align the mounting holes on the drive bay with the mounting holes on your hard drive, and then screw them together.

Attach All Cables.

Remove PC Slot Cover. (AGP, PCI Express etc.)

Install the AGP Card or PCI Express Card into its Slot. Make sure that it’s firmly pressed into the slot. If anyone part of the card is sticking out, push it back in. Then secure the card into the motherboard by screwing the retaining screw into the motherboard.

Step 5: Lights, Camera, Action!

Now comes the fun part. The lights. They're easy to install. They plug into the extra power connectors from the power supply.

Step 6: Close Up and Power Up.

Step 7: Install the Operating System.
